Old Storeroom

Once the repository for the artist’s sculpture moulds, the Old Storeroom has been charmingly repurposed by his wife, Karen Malpage Lewis, as a space for guests to enjoy fine coffee, speciality teas, cool refreshments and a slice of cake, all served in Karen’s latest ceramic range, Black Plum.

In keeping with the garden’s design principles, chalk lines showing the original position of the mould store shelves have been retained as homage to the building’s original function.

A selection of seasonal apparel is available for sale at the Old Storeroom, including natural-fibre scarves, parasols and hats, as well as Black Plum ceramics to allow guests to recreate the experience at home.
